Big Door Vineyards

Their wine slushy is really awesome. A must try if you heading here. It’s a short drive from Atlanta probably the closest winery around. It’s scenic and has great outdoor seating. The pond is so scenic and gives a beautiful reflection of this place. Do check out pictures. I have visited this place few times and was lucky to find black grapes on the creeper somewhere in October. Parking can be tight on weekends. You can walk around the have a nice big grape trees with various variety

My sister and I had a great time at Big Door. We both got one of the sweet flights of wine. We liked the blueberry wine the best. The show stopper was the mug of hot mulled wine. It was the bomb. It was perfect for a rainy day. The charcuterie board was the perfect palate cleanser. They had a live musician inside and a food truck outside with grilled cheese and other foods. Big Door rests on 16 acres of beautiful landscape. Vineyards laced with delicious grapes are a picturesque backdrop to a cozy wine room with an ambient wrapped porch. Each staff member we met had a smile and greeted us warmly and with enthusiastic professionalism. Jasmine and Mackenzie were sweet and helpful in aiding our flight selections. The food here is light and tasty, not to mention affordable. The wine is very diverse and caters to every palette. As a bonus for my birthday today, Joe, one of the co-owners ensured that we were well taken care of with his warm hospitality and friendly demeanor. We got to experience the beauty of the lands and learn about its history and charm. There was a food truck, singer jamming away and an outside bar. We had such a relaxing, educational and warm visit that it felt like family. Thank you Joe and all your excellent staff members who made my 41st extra special with your sincere hospitality and love. We'll be back and I encourage everyone to check them out. A must see!! Also make sure to try their delicious wine slushies.

10/10! Very laid back and relaxing vineyard. There were so many wines to choose from. We enjoyed touring the grounds and learning about the history of this vineyard. There was also live music playing which added to the experience. It’s the kind of place you want to hang out, enjoy a delicious glass of wine with friends and family.

I'm in love with BIG DOOR!!! PORTO GRANDE 😜 The owner Joe and the 2 ladies behind the bar were so nice & welcoming. The wines are very tasty as well. I 🥰 ocean view so crisp & refreshing and peach casso 🍑 tasted like fresh peaches. Ben Williams did a fantastic job playing bass 🎸 and a variety of songs. Make an RSVP to guarantee seating or just go and sit outside at an open table. They also had a food truck and fun outdoor igloos.. such a fun time!! Now time for wine 🍷🍷🍷🍷🍷 Update: Following week we returned to purchase more bottles and enjoy the vibe bartenders Cookie & McKenzie were so nice. Joe was being the host that's the most lol tried a new flight and Blue 💙 Velvet is another favorite! Stop reading and just GO!!! You'll love it

I am contacting you to let you know about my experience in the place. I love it, and I have gone several times with my husband and friends, and we have had a great time. This past Saturday, August 12, I invited my mom to visit the place. She is disabled, so she uses a mechanical wheelchair. unfortunately the place is not suitable for people with wheelchairs the descent from the main place has a step of about 3", to go up or down each bridge also has a step we had to get my mother out of the wheelchair to be able to pass the chair from one place to another was a very frustrating experience, in the same way the small stones that have the paths make it impossible to manage the wheelchair on them. It would be so good if those small details were modified for people with disabilities.

We went here tonight to celebrate my mom’s birthday coming up and I couldn’t imagine a better first time experience! I’d recommend Big Door Vineyards over and over again. The manager/owner made sure that we were well taken care of with providing the best southern hospitality to me and my family! He made sure that everyone there enjoyed their time. As he stated, we arrived as customers and left feeling like family! The food was amazing, the scenery was so beautiful, lots of great music, amazing customer service and LOTS OF AMAZING WINE! I love how it’s kid friendly while also allowing wine lovers to have a good time. Can’t wait to revisit, thank you to all of the Big Door Vineyards family for our amazing experience!
